Important: Preset Compatibility with Version 2.2
Version 2.2 introduces the new Virtual Screen feature for TMxCore, along with related enhancements for TouchControl 5 and TouchMonitor 5. As a result, presets created with version 2.2 or later are not compatible with devices running earlier software versions.
Presets created with versions earlier than 2.2 can be loaded and used without modification in version 2.2.
Presets remain fully compatible across TouchControl 5, TouchMonitor 5, and TMxCore, provided all devices are running version 2.2 or later and the presets were created or last saved with version 2.2 or later.

Version 2.2 introduces a major update to the Preset Editor.
Support for Virtual Screens for TMxCore
New: You can create up to 3 virtual screens (license depending). Each virutal screen has its own ratio and side bar width as well as 3 independend Views.
Each Network Display instance consumes resources on the local computer running the web browser. Therefore, the number of Network Displays you can run simultaneously on a single computer depends on its performance. The Virtual Screen feature is primarily intended for larger installations, where multiple computers each display their own instance of Network Display.
New: Dot-Resolution has been increased to support larger displays and more options for placing objects.
New: Settings have been moved to the main page of the editor to avoid having to enter submenus repeatedly.
New: View and Screen management has been moved to the top of the editor, providing a clearer and more intuitive hierarchy.
New: The Edit Preset menu now features a yellow warning indicator to help identify incomplete preset configurations.
Yellow dots appears when:
An application requires routing, but no routing has been configured.
The current view is empty and contains no elements.
Edit Element
New: Preview: A new preview feature lets you see your changes while applying them to elements
New: Color selector: There is a new color selector, simplifying color selection
New: Buttons now offer many more customization options, including font size, text alignment, and more.
Fixed: In some scenarios, the scroll bar could disappear.
Network Display
New: Support for Virtual Screens for TMxCore.
New: Browser tabs now display the RTW icon (favicon), making RTW pages easier to identify.
New: Tab naming now includes the name of the device screen and view, for example "TMxCore | Screen 1 | View 1".
New: To help prevent losing valuable work, a warning is now shown when leaving the editor, e.g. when hitting “Back” in your browser, refreshing it or navigating to another URL.
New: A warning is now displayed if you recall a preset that does not define the Network Display screen currently selected in your browser (for example, “Screen 1 not defined.”).
Fixed: The preset list was not always in sync.
New: Network Display can now be recalled directly using a URL. In addition to launching Network Display from the WebApp menu, you can now open any screen and view by entering its URL directly in your browser.

OSC: A major upgrade
New: The System > OSC Listener parameter has a new option, "Localhost." With this setting, only OSC messages originating from the device itself are accepted.
New: System > OSC Feedback. The feedback function enables a fully synchronized link between an OSC control on the device and its counterpart on the destination device.
Incoming OSC
The amount of monitoring features that can be remote controlled is enhanced significantly, same with metering features.
New: Some parameters have been extended to accept both INT and FLOAT types. For example, the volume parameter can now be addressed using either type, making it compatible with Elgato Stream Deck.
Incoming OSC now supports version 1.1 in addition to 1.0 (previously only version 1.0).
New: OSC control of calibration settings like EQ and lots of other parameters.
New: OSC control of internal routing.
Fixed: OSC Server can not handle more than one incoming message.
Outgoing OSC
New: Outgoing messages based on internal events.
You can now send OSC messages when certain criteria are met, for example when not complying with a loudness standard, if you have a True Peak Over, if there is an LFE correlation error, or if dialog has been detected.
Improvement: Actions Active state now defaults to On rather than Off.
New: Arguments have been re-organized to avoid too many sub-menus.
New: Arguments can now be set to use a fixed value rather than the one provided by the control you are editing.
Fixed: In some cases, the text box used to enter OSC messages did not support special characters such as /.

Routing Page
New (TC5 Dante / TM5 Dante): Changes made to Dante channel names in Dante Controller are now reflected instantly on the routing page.
Fixed: In some cases, Control+click did not work as expected.
Improved (macOS): The Command (⌘) key is now used instead of Control for selecting multiple channels.
Metering
New: For the Dialog Gated loudness type, it is now possible to select the ATSC scales ATSC 30 and ATSC 60.
Fixed: Loudness NUM: the choice of which parameters to choose would be unstable.
Fixed: Bars, Numeric: In some cases the value displayed on top of the bars would be chopped off if too long.
Fixed: Resolved an issue where the PPM meter could, in some cases, consume excessive processing resources.
Fixed: RTA and Chart: Application Marker is not the correct color.
Multicorrelator
New mode, LFE: This brings the LFE correlator to TMxCore. The LFE correlator helps tracking issues with correlation between main channels and LFE.
Fixed: LFE Warning did not work as expected.
Immersive Sound Analyzer
Cross and lines are too dull. Fixed for better readout.
OSC Encoder
New: You can now set minimum and maximum values, as well as step size, allowing you to create even more versatile controllers.
New: Up/Down arrow keyboard keys can now be used to set position.
Fixed: Could not add the Encoder instrument to the side bar.
Monitoring
Fixed: With Network Display, the Reference button did not work.
Fixed: Monitoring speaker instrument could cause a delayed behavior when adjusting levels.
Fixed: Volume Instrument display range would be unlimited using Network Display.
Firmware Update
New: On the update page (both on device and in the browser), the device name, current version (the version you are updating FROM) and IP address is now shown.
New: Once the firmware update is done, the browser will update itself and load the updated webapp to make sure that the webapp version corresponds to the device firmware version.
Fixed: With Dante devices, Dante would still be running during firmware update. This could cause devices to take very long to update, or even halt during the process. Now, Dante is disconnected during firmware update and will disappear from Dante Controller while updating. Dante will be re-established once firmware update is done.

Minor Fixes
Improvement: Adjustments to some icons for clearer UX.
Fixed: Copy from text fields resulted in wierd characters on some platforms.
Fixed: In some cases the VAD latency was not applied correctly.
Fixed: Presets with space in their name could not be loaded.
Fixed: In rare cases, a device crash could reset the main settings. This no longer occurs.
Fixed: In some cases, Ravenna settings were not available as a link from the main page.
Fixed: In rare cases, the display would say "Too small", even though the object were just fine.
Fixed: In some cases, memory leaks would freeze the display after a longer while.
Fixed: After changing a device’s IP address, the confirmation message displaying the new IP address could, in some cases, remain on screen until OK was pressed manually. It now closes automatically after a few seconds.

OSC Internal port changed from 8000 to 58000
There was a conflict in port numbers, so we had to change the OSC port from 8000 to 58000. To address your device, you need to use port 58000.

This release is primarily a bug-fix update, with a few new features, most notably significant improvements to OSC.
NEW
You can now use a much wider range of characters, for example when naming labels.
Additional scales are now available when using the Dialog Gated loudness type.
Open Sound Control (OSC)
This version includes a major update to OSC functionality.
Connections
Under System > General, you’ll find a new Connections section.
Connections allow you to define OSC settings (IP address, port, protocol, action type, etc.) once and reuse them across all buttons and actions.
If a setting changes, for example an IP address, it only needs to be updated in one place, rather than on every individual button.
A predefined connection, Localhost, is included. This represents the device itself.
Use this connection when sending OSC commands to the device itself to access features that are available exclusively via OSC.

You can now define actions that are automatically triggered when specific events occur. Supported events are:

Presets now include a new Events section: below Routing and View, you’ll find a new Events button.

New Action Type: Dante API
For TouchControl 5 Dante and TouchMonitor 5 Dante, Dante API is now available as a connection type.
This enables direct subscription and unsubscription of channels within your Dante network.
Combined with the Preset Loaded event, this enables a powerful new feature: incoming Dante channels can now be configured automatically when a preset is loaded.

TouchControl 5 Ravenna Update Issue
We have identified an issue with the firmware upload feature affecting only the Ravenna versions (not the Dante models).
After updating to version 2.1.3, it is no longer possible to upload new firmware.
How to fix the issue:
Unplug and replug and wait for Boot screen 4 times to revert to an earlier version of the software.
Then update to version 2.1.6 and all is fine again.
Updates
- The Routing could not be edited when a preset is imported from a TouchMonitor 5. Fixed.
- The Default-preset has been renewed.
New features
- Stereo Correlator now has a Relative Mode setting. With this mode switched ON, the Stereo Correlator takes level differences into account when measuring stereo correlation. If there is a correlation issue but a significant level difference between the channels, the correlation error is considered less severe.
- Boost LFE: There is a new option to boost the LFE with 10 dB.
- TP Over Sensitivity now has the same range as Headroom (-20 to 0 dBFS).
- In some cases, OSC could crash. Fixed.
Version 2.1 (2.1.3)

Important note on updating the firmware
You may experience issues during the update process. The update can fail, requiring multiple attempts.
In some cases, the device might appear to enter a black-screen state; simply disconnect and reconnect it to continue.
After restarting, the correct firmware should be installed. If not, try the update again - eventually, you WILL succeed. :-)

Firmware Update Mode
As our installer has grown larger (around 150 MB), we’ve seen increasing issues during firmware updates.
With some browsers, the update process could fail, requiring several attempts to succeed.
In some cases, the device could enter a black-screen mode, requiring a disconnect and reconnect to recover.
We have addressed this by introducing a dedicated Firmware Update Mode.
When entering this mode, audio and processing is disabled, allowing the device to focus entirely on the firmware update.
Progress is displayed both in the browser and on the device itself, in sync.
Note: Progress may appear to pause around 88%, but simply wait, it will continue.
Once the update is complete, the device restarts automatically. Just lean back and enjoy. :-)
Importantly, since this feature is part of version 2.1.3, you won’t experience it until you update next time.
However, you can test it by installing 2.1.3 twice, just for fun.
Network Display
This functionality allows you to view your device screen in any web browser on your local network (also works remotely via VPN).
On the main menu screen of the WebApp, simply press the Network Display button, the browser will switch to the current device view. Operate the display in the browser in the same way as on your device and, for example, display a different view of your current preset. Using your device's IP address, the display can be viewed in up to two additional web browsers or on other computers in the network.
As you know, this is a licensed feature, but if you don’t have the license, you can still try it out.
When you press Network Display, you’ll be prompted to either return or enable Demo Mode. Simply enable Demo Mode and Network Display will work, replacing your current input source with the built-in demo song.
To return to the menu, simply press the Menu button in the righthand sidebar on the Preset overview page. if the sidebar is hidden, just swipe from the right (or left) edge to the centre with the left mouse button pressed.
Delay Compensation
All metering instruments now have outputs. The delay compensation is applied to the outputs so that the displays are
aligned to what is heard when using dialog-gated loudness measurements (more details in section WebApp - Metering).
TouchControl 5 specific
New Recall Volume Button: Allows you to recall as many reference volumes as you want.
TMxCore Specific
Correlation across Immersive Sound Analyzer, Matrix Correlator, and Multi Correlator now accounts for level differences. If channels differ by more than 20 dB, phase is no longer treated as an issue.
A new setting is available: Metering Application > Multicorrelator Parameters > Mode = Legacy or Relative.
Smaller changes
- TP Over Sensitivity now shares the same range as Headroom: –20 dBFS to 0 dBFS.
- The context-sensitive help texts in the WebApp have been significantly expanded. They are enabled by default but can be switched off under System > Appearance > Show Help.
- Exporting and importing of the system settings were not functioning.

The Action functionality has been added to the Tools application which is always available in a preset now (also see section WebApp - Tools).

New application: Tools
Provides useful additions and is always accessible in the View Editor. The included Label element can be placed freely on the screen, with adjustable color, font size, orientation, and more.
Contextual Help Texts
Contextual help texts are now included throughout the system. They are enabled by default but can be switched off under System > Appearance > Show Help.
Label Tool
A new element - Label - can now be placed on the screen. You can adjust its color, font size, orientation, and more. Labels are available in a new application called Tools.
Loudness Numeric Updates
Two new Loudness measurement options are available: - PLR (Peak-to-Loudness Ratio): This new measurement option shows the Peak-to-Loudness Ratio and is important for EBU128 measurements. - LDR (Loudness-to-Dialog Ratio): This new measurement option shows the ratio between Integrated Dialog (ID) and Integrated Loudness (I) and is important for EBU128 measurements.
