TouchControl 5, TouchMonitor 5 & TMxCore Firmware 2.2



A major update to workflows, remote control and Network Display

Firmware version 2.2 is our largest software update to date for TouchControl 5, TouchMonitor 5 and TMxCore. It introduces powerful new workflow enhancements, an updated Preset Editor, Virtual Screens for TMxCore, a major expansion of OSC capabilities, and numerous improvements throughout the platform.

Whether you’re building larger monitoring installations, integrating with third-party control systems, or simply looking for a faster and more intuitive user experience, version 2.2 delivers significant improvements across the entire product family.

Virtual Screens for TMxCore

Expand TMxCore beyond its physical display.

With the new Network Display Virtual Screen feature, TMxCore can drive up to three additional browser-based screens (license dependent), each with its own independent layout, aspect ratio and views.

This makes it possible to distribute different metering and monitoring layouts across multiple operator positions or displays while managing everything from a single device.

  • Direct URL access to any screen and view
  • Ideal for larger facilities and multi-workstation environments


Updated preset editor



Version 2.2 introduces the biggest update ever to the preset editor.
The editing workflow has been refined to reduce clicks, improve navigation and make complex presets easier to build.

Highlights include:

  • Improved View and Screen management
  • Live element preview while editing
  • Larger design resolution for modern displays
  • New color selector
  • Expanded button customization
  • Warning indicators that immediately identify incomplete preset configurations

Network Display becomes even more powerful

Network Display has been extended with numerous workflow improvements.


New capabilities include:

  • Support for Virtual Screens (TMxCore)
  • Direct launching of screens via URL
  • Improved browser tab naming
  • RTW browser favicon
  • Better synchronization with presets
  • Warnings before leaving the editor
  • Clear notification when a selected screen is not defined in the current preset

These additions make Network Display much better suited for large installations and everyday operation.


A major upgrade to OSC


Version 2.2 significantly expands both incoming and outgoing OSC functionality, making RTW products easier than ever to integrate into broadcast facilities, control systems and automated workflows.

New capabilities include:

  • Extensive remote control of monitoring and metering
  • Control of calibration parameters, including EQ
  • Internal routing via OSC
  • OSC 1.1 support
  • Improved compatibility with controllers such as Elgato Stream Deck
  • Localhost-only listener mode for increased security
  • OSC Feedback for synchronized controls
  • Event-based outgoing OSC messages
  • More flexible arguments and action handling

Together these improvements make version 2.2 the most capable OSC implementation available on RTW products.

Better monitoring and metering



The Immersive Analyzer now also features the LFE correlator.

Numerous improvements have been made across the monitoring and metering applications.

Highlights include:

  • LFE Correlator added to Immersive Analyzer (TMxCore)
  • Additional ATSC dialog-gated loudness scales
  • Improvements to Immersive Sound Analyzer
  • Updated Dialog Detector instrument
  • Enhanced Clock instrument for TMxCore
