New release expands system integration, monitor control, multichannel metering and external logging across RTW’s current product platforms.

IBC, Amsterdam, September 11, 2026 – RTW, a leading provider of professional audio metering solutions, today announced a major software update for its TMxCore, TouchMonitor 5 and TouchControl 5 platforms at IBC2026.

The new release significantly expands the capabilities of RTW’s current product range, with new integrations for LAWO HOME and Genelec IP speakers, support for NMOS IS-07, external logging through Prometheus and Grafana, full monitor control for TMxCore, and new surround and immersive instruments for the Compact Line.

The release also introduces a range of metering and workflow improvements, including expanded Matrix Correlator functionality, new frequency filtering, improved preset management and support for additional metering applications.

Metering, monitoring, control and measurement data increasingly need to work together, and this release reflects that.”

Deeper Integration into the Broadcast Infrastructure

A major focus of the new release is communication between RTW products and the systems around them.

New integration with LAWO HOME enables RTW devices to be discovered, managed and integrated into HOME-based IP infrastructures. Support for NMOS IS-07 enables RTW measurement and status data to be published as events, allowing external systems to monitor values and react to changes in real time.

RTW has also integrated the Genelec control API, allowing compatible RTW devices to directly control Genelec IP speakers. Functions include level, mute, preset recall, LED visibility and standby mode, with support for both individual speakers and groups.

Together, the new capabilities continue RTW’s strategy of making its products active components of modern, interconnected broadcast and audio environments rather than isolated measurement devices.

External Logging with Prometheus and Grafana

A new External Logging & Integration license further extends the ways measurement data can be used outside the RTW device.

RTW devices can provide measurement and status data to Prometheus for collection and time-series storage. The information can subsequently be visualized in Grafana, enabling users to build customized dashboards, perform historical analysis and establish centralized monitoring across installations.

The workflow – RTW device → Prometheus → Grafana – allows RTW measurement data to become part of a facility’s broader monitoring and logging infrastructure.

TMxCore Becomes a Full Monitor Controller                      

TMxCore receives a major expansion with the introduction of the new Monitor Control license.

The option brings the core monitoring functionality of RTW’s TouchControl 5 to the TMxCore platform. Users can control volume, mute, dim, reference level, input and speaker selection, downmix, bass management, calibration settings and more.

Control is available through the TMxCore interface as well as RTW Network Display, allowing the screenless TMxCore hardware to provide a complete browser-based metering and monitor-control environment.

Surround and Immersive Metering Comes to Compact Line

TouchMonitor 5 and TouchControl 5 also receive a significant expansion with the new Surround & Immersive Instruments license. 

The package brings RTW’s advanced multichannel analysis tools to the Compact Line, including the Immersive Sound Analyzer, Multi Correlator and Matrix Correlator.

These instruments provide detailed insight into level, phase, correlation and channel relationships in surround and immersive productions, extending functionality previously associated with RTW’s larger metering environments to the compact 5-inch platforms.

Expanded Multichannel Analysis

The Matrix Correlator has been expanded with new analysis and display capabilities.

New uncorrelation measurement makes it possible to identify and visualize channels that are intentionally decorrelated in multichannel and immersive material. Users can also select which channels are displayed, making it easier to concentrate on specific channel relationships within complex configurations.

New frequency filters have also been added to the Matrix Correlator, Polarscope and Immersive Sound Analyzer. Users can define the frequency range used for analysis, for example, focusing on content between 80 Hz and 800 Hz, to gain more detailed insight into the behavior of different parts of the audio spectrum.

Polarscope has also been enhanced with the ability to mute individual channels, providing speaker-control-style interaction directly from the instrument.

Dialog Intelligibility and LMMG

TMxCore’s Dialog Intelligibility implementation has been updated in accordance with the LMMG Implementation Agreement.

The agreement establishes a common approach to the implementation and presentation of Fraunhofer’s LEAP dialog intelligibility technology across participating manufacturers, helping provide consistent results and user experience between different implementations.

More Flexible Metering and Operation

A number of workflow improvements further expand the flexibility of the RTW platforms.

The maximum number of Metering Applications available within a single preset has been increased, providing more flexibility for sophisticated metering configurations.

Preset management has also been improved with the introduction of folders, making larger preset collections easier to organize and navigate.

New mDNS support simplifies access to RTW devices over the network. Rather than having to know the IP address of a device, users can connect through a standard browser using the device name.

The release also introduces the new EBU+3a loudness scale and DIG80 PPM scale, further extending the range of metering standards and scales available across the RTW platforms.

The new software release will be demonstrated throughout IBC2026 on RTW’s TMxCore, TouchMonitor 5 and TouchControl 5 platforms.
