IBC, Amsterdam, September 11, 2026 – RTW, a leading provider of professional audio metering solutions, today announced expanded IP integration capabilities for its Compact Line products and TMxCore, adding support for LAWO HOME and NMOS IS-07 through the new External Logging & Integration license.

 The new integrations further strengthen RTW’s strategy of making professional audio metering an integrated part of modern IP-based broadcast infrastructures. LAWO HOME support enables compatible RTW devices to be discovered and managed within HOME-based environments, while NMOS IS-07 enables RTW measurement and status data to be published as events for use by external systems.

 Importantly, both integrations operate independently of the device’s audio interface. LAWO HOME and NMOS IS-07 support are therefore available across all Compact Line and TMxCore models, regardless of the audio I/O configuration.

 “Audio metering is increasingly becoming part of a much larger networked ecosystem,” says Thomas Valter, Director of Product Management at RTW. “Our goal is not simply to put audio onto the network, but to make our devices and the information they generate accessible to the surrounding infrastructure. LAWO HOME and NMOS IS-07 are two important steps in that direction.”

 

Integration with LAWO HOME

With the new LAWO HOME integration, RTW devices can be discovered and incorporated into HOME-managed IP infrastructures.

This makes it easier to include RTW metering devices as part of larger networked installations and gives system operators a more unified approach to managing the devices that form their broadcast infrastructure.

For RTW, the integration represents another step toward making dedicated audio measurement a natural component of software-defined and network-managed production environments.

Measurement Data Through NMOS IS-07

In addition to LAWO HOME support, RTW is introducing support for NMOS IS-07, the AMWA specification for event and tally information.

NMOS IS-07 allows measurement and status information generated by RTW devices to be published as events on the network. External systems can use this data to monitor values and states and react to changes without relying on the RTW user interface itself.

This opens up new possibilities for centralized monitoring, facility management, automation and custom broadcast workflows. RTW measurement information can become part of the wider data infrastructure of a facility and be used by other systems alongside information from other networked devices.

 

Beyond Audio Transport

The additions are part of RTW’s continuing development of its products for increasingly interconnected broadcast environments.

Alongside audio connectivity technologies including RAVENNA, AES67, SMPTE ST 2110 and Dante, RTW is expanding the ways its products communicate with surrounding systems independently of the underlying audio transport. Technologies including NMOS, OSC and browser-based RTW Network Display allow RTW devices to exchange information, respond to external control and make their metering available beyond the physical device itself.

 LAWO HOME and NMOS IS-07 support are available through RTW’s new External Logging & Integration license for Compact Line: TouchMonitor 5 and TouchControl 5, and TMxCore. The functionality is independent of the audio I/O configuration and is therefore available across all versions of these products.
