Logging Menu
This menu page is used to activate and to configure the Logging instrument. The instrument is used to collect data of Loudness and TruePeak measurements and either to store them on a USB memory stick or to send them via IP connection to the LQL - Loudness Quality Logger PC software for analyzing (PC software available for free to registered users). The instrument allows two-stage definition of thresholds to indicate and to log the exceeding of limits set by legal or in-house regulations for example. It will be controlled by the use of key sets or the Global Keyboard. Logging data can be collected without any display on the screen.
Please note:
This instrument is only available with activated Logging Data Server licence (SW20014). Precondition for the use of SW20014 is the activated Loudness and SPL Display licence (SW20002). An activated Timecode Reader licence (SW20008) may be required, if loudness logging shall be bound to timecode instead of the internal time base as for additionally functionality.
This key is used to define either to store data of the selected audio group on a USB memory stick or to send them via IP connection to the LQL PC software. Additionally, the instrument can be deactivated.

• Main Limits
The Main Limits menu entered with this key is used to define thresholds being set by legal regulations or recommended by the current loudness standards for example.
• Secondary Limits
The Secondary Limits menu entered with this key is used to define additional thresholds which can be set much closer in order to meet in-house regulations. If an exceeding of secondary limits will be indicated, the engineer can regulate the program early enough to keep it in balance to the main limits allowed (see above).
